Austin Foran
Director of Operations
Born and raised in the Kansas City area, I always knew I wanted to build something meaningful while remaining rooted in the community I call home. After college, I began my career in risk management while working in the commercial cleaning industry on evenings and weekends. I later enrolled in law school, and it was during that time that I found inspiration to start CleanZone.
I drew on my experience in risk management and the legal field to develop a different approach to commercial cleaning—one centered on the customer. CleanZone was created as a passion project with the goal of bringing a higher level of service, communication, and accountability to an industry that can often feel oversaturated.
From the beginning, I believed that truly understanding our customers' needs and paying meticulous attention to each facility would allow CleanZone to be more than just another cleaning company. We strive to be a trusted partner to every customer, sharing the same goal: making your facility look its best and creating an environment that employees, customers, and visitors can take pride in.
It was important to me to create something that customers could feel good about choosing—one they could rely on for all of their cleaning needs. Our team is committed to providing a high level of service while maintaining open, responsive communication. We have intentionally built a culture of teamwork and community, and we believe that positive morale translates directly into the care and effort we put into every facility we service.

I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in English and marketing and absolutely no idea what I wanted to do. Until the last couple of years, my primary career focuses were in marketing, healthcare, and food service. The common thread? I've experienced firsthand how much a clean, well-maintained environment can impact employees, patients, and customers.
My years of experience as a restaurant manager have taught me something else: a business is built on customers, yes...but it's also built on employees. People thrive in workplaces where they feel valued, respected, and supported. Happy employees lead to better service, more consistent results, and an overall better customer experience. We take care of our employees, so they take care of the facilities we serve. Cleaner facilities lead to increased productivity, better team morale, and a more positive experience for our clients and their employees, customers, and patients.
My experience on the other side of these industries has influenced my philosophy on cleaning: take care of your employees, and they'll help you take care of your customers.
